what is the difference between regular reflection and irregular reflection

The reflection take place on plane surface,such that all reflected rays passes parallel after incident of incidence ray.that reflection is said to be regular reflection
When reflected rays are not parallel ,then reflection is said to be irregular reflection.It so happened on rough place.

When rays of light strikes a plane surface(mirror) it is reflected in a particular and straight manner it is known as regular reflection.
When rays of light strikes a rough surface(road,etc.) it is not reflected in a particular way and it is in a scattered manner. This is known as irregular reflection.
