What is the difference between renewable and conventional energy?

Both are interconnected but definitely not the same . Renewable energy is which that can be obtained from renewable resources (natural) such as wind;water ;air etc which dont get exhausted .

Non conventional energy is obtained from renewable resources which are recently developed or are instill development for example. Solar energy is renewable non conventional energy source these are also not widely used.

  1. renewable source of energy are those source of energy which are being produced continuously in nature and are inexhaustible are called renewable source of energy. for example: wood : geothermal power
  2. conventional source of energy are those energy which have been accumulated in nature over a very long time and cannot be quickly replace if once exhausted are called conventional source of energy. for example: coal;natural gas.
