What is the difference between resistance and resistivity ?

resistance tells u the specific number of ohms that a physical piece of conductor has.
resistivity is the electrical property of a material.

Resistance →it is defined for any particular object and can vary with change in dimensions of the object
Unit→ ohm

Resistivity →it is defined for any particular material and is fixed
Unit →ohm meter

eg-- for copper resistivity is fixed but when we use it, then resistance depends on its length and cross section area
