Resistance tells you the specific number of ohms that a phsyical piece of conductor has. Resistivity is the electrical property of a material. The resistance of a specific length and cross sectional area piece of that material (e.g. like carbon, silver or copper) can be calculated using the resistivity propert

The resistance opposes the flow of free electrons whereas the resistivity is the property of material which defines the resistance of material having specific dimensions
