what is the difference between resistance and resistivity

Resistivity is the property of the conductor due to which it offers resistance to the flow of current through it . It is measured by the resistance offered by 1m length of wire of that material of area of cross section 1 m2. Resistivity of the material depends only on its material and temperature.

Resistance = it depends on length of wire or conductor, area of cross section , temperature, nature of material of wire or conductor...

Resistivity= it does not dependce on length of wire or conductor , area of cross section ,but it depends on temperature and nature of material of wire or conductor....
