What is the difference between RESISTANCE and RESISTIVITY ?

There is NO difference between resistivity and specific resistance.

Specific resistance is a word that was used earlier but was discarded by IUPAC(if you are thinking how IUPAC comes into play here then let me tell you that electrochemistry also deals with resistances and therefore they use terms generally used in physics).
