What is the difference between scalar quantity and vector quantity?

scalar quantity has only magnitude while vector has both magnitude and direction

●●scalar quantity doesn't get any effect due to direction but vector quantity get affected by the direction ....example of scalar quantity is distance and of the vector quantity is displacement and velocity .....hope helps u friend. ...
