what is the difference between scalars and vectors ? Explain with examples.

Scaler are some quantities like mass , distance which have magnitude only..
But vectors are some quantaties which have magnitude as well as direction also like velocity , displacement etc..

scalar is a property which can be described only by magnitude
eg distance mass temperature

vector is a quantity which is described by both magnitude and direction

eg force velocity
