The following are the differences between Shearing and Rearing:
1. Shearing is the process through which the hair (fleece) and a thin layer of Sheep's skin are removed from his body. Whereas, Rearing is the process of taking care of the livestock such as cows, sheep etc. for their commercial use.
2. In shearing, the hair of sheep is removed to make woolen clothes whereas, in rearing, the products provided by animals are used by human beings such as milk and dung etc.
