signs as any indication of a medical condition that can be objectively observed (i.e., by someone other than the patient), whereas as symptom is merely any manifestation of a condition that is apparent to the patient (i.e., something consciously affecting the patient).

symptoms are the thing we feel as being wrong.
they give a little indication of the disease.
Signs are what which physician will look on the basis of our symptoms. they will give a little more indication of the disease as physicians will take some tests to pin point the disease further...
