sit means hota h bathna and seat means hota h car wali seat jis par hum bathte h

SEAT (noun)


(1 ) Thing made or used for sitting on

Eg-She rose from seat to welcome me.

( 3 ) Place where something is based or where an activity is carried on

Eg-  In India, Delhi is the seat of government.
