- Slow Combustion
- When a combustible material burns at is slow, or moderate rate, its combustion is called slow combustion.
- slow combustion occurs when there is an insufficient supply of airand so the combustion never gets really completed.
- They also leave solid Residues like ash, etc.
- Example- Cowdung cakes, Wood, etc.
Rapid combustion-
- When a combustible substance burns at a faster rate, its combustion is called rapid combustion.
- rapid combustion occurs when there is a sufficient supply of air & this combustion is completed.
- They never leave any soil residues like ash, etc.
- Example- Matchsticks
