What is the difference between solids and rigids ?​

Solid is the substance that has definite volume and definite shape .

But rigidity is a property , means if we say that a body is rigid it means that it maintains its own shape when subjected to outside force.

All solids are not rigid but all rigids are solids .

Ek body rigid hai iska matlab yeah hota hai ki agar aap uspay koi external force apply karoge then also woh body apna shape nhi change honay dega .

It means external force will be completely balanced by the internal force of the rigid body .
