The main difference is sky and space matter :- the sky is the region in which sunlight is the scattered in the earth atmosphere making it visible from the surface of the planet while space is everything beyond that.the sky also includes all objects as far as we can see outside in the earth .

Sky:it consist of many layers like trophosphere,mesosphere etc....every layer has a special aspects like reflection of radio waves etc... and mainly it consist air.

Space:there is no presence of air in space.such a condition is called vaccum and it consist many galaxies,milkieway,stars etc... and the main thing is in space sound doesnot travel because it needs medium.
