Answer:

\huge{\mathfrak{Speed}}

The total distance covered in unit time is is called the speed of any object.

speed =  \frac{distance}{time}

\huge{\mathfrak{Velocity}}

The total displacement divided by the total time taken is called the velocity of that object.

velocity =  \frac{displacement}{time}

So, the difference is that velocity will change if the object changes its direction, but speed remains same.

Also, if the object comes to initial position at rest then its displacement is 0.

Also, magnitude of velocity is always equal to or less than speed's magnitude

Answer:

heya mate....( ◜‿◝ )♡

Explanation:

speed doesnt have any particular direction..

velocity have a oarticular direction

speed: total distance covered in unit time

velocity : total displacement covered in unit time

speed is a scalar quantity and velocity is a vector quantity..

scalar : which have only magnitude but not direction

vector : which has both magnitude and direction..

hope it helps( ◜‿◝ )♡
