what is the difference between streamline flow and lamenner flow

Streamline flow is the flow in which particles follow the path of preceding particles.
In streamline flow the velocity of each particles is approx same
Now the laminar flow
Its a type of liquid flow in which its layer glide over one another without actual mixing.
For e.g. in a beaker containing water if u drop some oil then the layer of oil will be at top and if i make the flow of this solution then then the flow is known as laminar flow
REMEMBER
In laminar flow the other layer of liquid will move parellel to it with their velocities increasing uniformly from one layer to the next
The velocity in laminar flow is max. at free surface of liquid.
