Success
Success is measuring one’s accomplishments against the accomplishments of others. Benchmarking against a comparable for those finance people out there. Beating the previously set world record for track athletes. Getting a better grade than your friend on a test. Success is all about getting it done. Beating out the competition.
Excellence
Excellence is all about one’s personal best. Running a mile faster than the mile you ran yesterday. Getting 100 on a test because you are capable of such a grade. Getting up in the morning and giving 100% of your efforts to everything you tackle for the day. Excellence is all about potential. How much effort are you willing to put in to attain the absolute best results of which you are capable.
