Data can be presented as per desired. You may go for both textual as well as tabular representation of data.


The vital difference between the two is that in textual representation, each and every data is represented in a subjective manner.


On the other hand, in tabular form of data; details are mentioned in the form of tables.


Tabular form of data is easy to read in comparison to textual data.

Both are ways of reading data.

- Tabular Data:

This is the type of data which is represented using (nodes of a diagram organized in a tabular way).

There are specific rows and columns organized in a grid-like structure of a table.

Examples include: Swim lane layouts It may be graphs or visual charts.


Textual form of data:

This is another type of data representation. All the data appearing is presented in the form of texts, phrases, or paragraphs. Textual presentation data refers to data presented in written, paragraph form. These are representations in words.


The main difference among the two is that tabular uses diagrams and tables to show data while textual uses words to represent data. Also tabular is self explanatory because there are segments while textual in general explains using words.
