What is the difference between Talking and Gossiping.?

Talking:
Speaking about something. The word talking refers to speaking any kind of things.

For example: He is not talking with me.

Gossiping:
Like Talking, it does not refers to any kind of information but specifically it refers to speaking about useless topics or loose talking.

For example: Sheela is gossiping with Shailesh.
This means Sheela is loose talking with Shailesh.

When you say a person is Talking it can be in general , or you don't know the context of what they are talking about.

When you say someone is gossiping , it means they are spreading rumors about something or someone.
