What is the difference between the aims of Mohammad Gauri and Mohammad Ghazni

Ghazni hated idol worship and his main objective was to destroy the idols wherever he found them; Make people realise that idols are lifeless and worth nothing.

Gauri was more interested in setting up an empire, that would rule for hundreds of years.

EDIT: There is a misconception among Indians mainly due to the wrong history( propoganda) they are fed; they believe that Pritviraj had defeated Gauri but the fact is;No battle took place the first time because Pritviraj had agreed to pay Jizya (tax); but when Gauri returned to his capital in Afghanistan; Pritvirag didn't pay Jizya; hence Gauri defeated him and took over his empire.
