DISPLACEMENT REACTION:- Displacement reaction is a reaction in which a more reactive element displaces a less reactive element from its compound.
Ex:- Mg + CuSO4 it gives Cu + MgSO4

DOUBLE DISPLACEMENT REACTION:- Double displacement reactions are those in which the reactant compound exchange positive ions with each other to form new compounds.
Ex:- AgNO3 + NaCl it gives AgCl + NaNO3

HOPE it helps!!!!!

☺ Hello mate__ ❤

◾◾here is your answer...

✒DEFINITION OF DISPLACEMENT REACTION::--

In a displacement reaction, a more reactive element replaces a less reactive element from a compound.

i.e. A + BX. -----> AX + B

where A is more reactive than B

Example :-

CuSO4 + Zn --> ZnSO4 + Cu

✒DEFINITION OF DISPLACEMENT REACTION::--

In a double displacement reaction, two atoms or a group of atoms change places to form new compounds.

i.e. AB + CD ---> AC + BD

Example:--

Na2SO4 + BaCl ---> NaSO4 + 2NaCl
