Kanyakumari is situated near the equator.....the places neat the equator receives equal durations of day and night......Kashmir is far away from the equator....so the durations of day and night are hardly felt at Kanyakumari and Kashmir...




The latitudinal extends influence the durations of day and night as one mover from south to north....
