These two words are always confused by students.
An estate is a vast land area which has a large bungalow or a house.
It is mostly inherited from one generation to the other.
The other word ranch is also similar to an estate, but there are minor differences.
A plantation is a vast landscape which has a type of livestock like the rearing of animals.
