Answer:

Difference between mass and weight are-

  • Mass is the amount of matter contain in the body.Weight is the force equal to the gravitational pull exerted by the planet.
  • Mass is a constant quantity and does not change with respect to position or place. Weight is variable quantity and changes with the change ine acceleration due to gravity of a place.
  • Mass of a body can never be zero. Weight of the body can be zero during free fall.
  • Mass is measured by using a physical balance. Weight is measured by using a spring balance.

Answer:

The mass of an object is a measure of the object's inertial property, or the amount of matter it contains. The weight of an object is a measure of the force exerted on the object by gravity, or the force needed to support it. The pull of gravity on the earth gives an object a downward acceleration of about 9.8 m/s2.
