What is the difference between the menarche and menopause

The start: Menarche is the name given to the first menstrual period, which usually occurs between the ages of 11 and 16. The end:Menopause is that point in time when periods stop permanently. It is also called the "change of life"

the difference between menarche and menopause :
menarche is the first mensuration of a  girl 
                               and
menopause is when mensuration physiologically stopped in an old women
