The major difference is that eukaryotic cells have a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles. Prokaryotic cells lack most organelles, namely the nucleus, which contains genetic information and controls everything that goes on in the cell.

1)Animal cells are EUKARYOTIC cells.

Bacterial cells are PROKARYOTIC cells.

2) PROKARYOTIC cells do not have a well defined nucleas and lacks presence of some other important organelles.

EUKARYOTIC cells have a well defined nucleas and has all the important organelles.

3)Animal cells are generally bigger in size than bacterial cells.

4)Animal cells are more complex than bacterial cells.

5)Animal cells have membrane bound organelles while bacteria doesn't have it.

6) Reproduction in bacteria is by binary fission, conjugation, and in animal they reproduce by mitosis and meiosis.
