1.In the beginning of the poem, when the traveller came across the two roads in the forest ,the first road he saw was not grassy means it was been travelled by many of the people. The second road was grassy and was less used by the people. So the poet choosed the road less travelled and at the end ,it made a positive difference in his life.
2.The poet thought that he would not return because he knew that he can't change his decision. Also the poet will be so busy in his life with one thing leading to another that he may not be ever able to come back.
3.The meaning of no step had trodden back means no any people have travelled here.
Hope it helps!
