Threshing is a process by which the grains are separated from the stalk.

But,


Winnowing is a process of separation of grains from the lighter particles such as chaffs.

Threshing :- After harvesting, grains are separated from the cut crop ...this process is called threshing...
Winnowing:- After threshing grains are separated from the chaff.. This process is called winnowing....
