Objects through which light can pass are called transparent .example water
and,
Obejects throygh which light cannot pass are called opaque. Example wall.
That's the difference..

Transparent objects are the objects which allow light to pass through them.Eg:glass,water etc,whearas opaque objects are the objects which do not light to pass through them. Transparent : The substances which allow light to pass through it.
