In decidious Forrest the climate is dry and there is meduim rainfall and also it is green in wet season and drops leaves in dry seasons whereas in tropical rain forests the climate is very wet and there is a chance of very heavy rainfall and it's always green. Here is a table:-

Tropical deciduous forset : 1. These are also called monsoon forset . 2. the trees shed their leaves for about 6 to 8 week in dry summer 3.eg teak , neem bamboo etc 4 . present in areas receiving rain fall between 200 cm to 70 cm.
Tropical rain forest : these are also call tropical evergreen forset . 2. since the region is warm and wet throughout the year there is no definite time for the trees to shed their leaves 3.eg ebony , rubber , rosewood etc 4. present in areas receiving more than 200 cm of rainfall
