turgor pressure - it is the pressure exerted due to osmotic entry of water from a regin of higher water potential to lower water potential.
pressure potential -due to entry of water into a plant cell the cytoplasm exerts pressure known as pressure potential

Turgor & pressure potential

Explanation:

  • Plant cells are especially similar to your own cells, aside from they are encompassed by a cell wall. This cell divider is a piece of what gives plants such an unbending and durable structure. Plant cells need a specific measure of strain to ensure that the cell divider remains inflexible. pressure from the liquid inside the cell pushing against the cell wall is called turgor pressure.
  • Essure potential Symbol Ψ is the part of water potential because of the hydrostatic weight that is applied to water in a cell. In bloated plant cells, it, as a rule, has a positive incentive as the section of water makes the protoplast push against the cell divider. In xylem cells, there is a negative weight potential, or pressure, because of transpiration. Water at environmental pressure has a pressure potential of zero.
