what is the difference between unicostate and multicostate​

when a leaf has only a single prominent midrib then it is unicostate venation . e.g. Mango and hibiscus leaves .

2 ) Multicostate venation = When a leaf has more than one mid rib , then it is multicostate venation.

ANSWER

UNICOSTATE:When only one midvein is present, while all other veins form the network like structure is known as Pinnate reticulate venation. This venation is also called as Unicostate reticulate venation.

MULTICOSTATE: a leaf, shell, or coral)having several costae or ribs.
