What is the difference between unification and reductionism ?

Unification is the act of unifying different laws valid for different phenomenon in to a single theory that explains all different phenomenon.

Reductionism is the breaking down of complex system into simpler constituent systems so that laws of physics can be applied on these systems and we can understand the working of the complex system..
