Answer:

The difference between uniform linear motion and uniform circular motion is that uniform linear motion is a straight motion such as a bullet fired from a gun while uniform circular motion is a round motion such as the revolution of the earth around the sun or the revolution of moon around the earth.

First of all, this is a very Good question...

  • Uniform linear motion is the type of motion where the velocity of the particle is equals to its average velocity, or in short it is moving with uniform velocity and 0 acceleration. The speed and velocity are both uniform, and the body is traveling in a particular direction only. That's why it is called linear.
  • Uniform Circular Motion is the type of motion where only speed is uniform not the velocity because in circular motion the direction of body changes continuously. Thus it have non uniform velocity and have some accleration.

  • Uniform linear motion- The car is moving with a velocity of 60km/hr in South Direction..
  • Uniform Circular motion- Moon revolving around Earth at constant speed, but non uniform velocity.
