Tides

* Tides are formed because of the interaction of gravitational force between earth moon and sun

* Tides are usually generated at the deep oceanic region

* Tides are made by rising and falling of sea level with the action of gravity

Waves

* Waves are caused because of the gusting or raging force exerted by the wind on the surface

* Waves are seen at shallower areas of sea

* Waves are formed when several factors relating to the wind and water interact with each other
