Xylem: Xylem are the vascular plant tissues. They are the important for vascular system. They transport water and minerals from the roots of the plant to the aerial parts. The flow of water and nutrient is unidirectional from roots to upwards. Xylem makes vascular bundles with phloem for mechanical strength. It contains dead tissues at maturity with no cell contents. Xylem has two tracheids and vessels for conducting the water and minerals. Phloem: Phloem are the vascular Plant tissues. they are important for vascular system. They transport food and nutrients from leaves to the other growing and supporting parts of plants. The flow of food and nutrients is bidirectional. Phloem makes vascular bundles with xylem for mechanical strength. It contains living tissues without nucleus. Phloem has sieve tubes for conducting food and nutrients.

____________________________

 \large{Xylem }

➡️These tissues are responsible for the conduction of water and Minerals.

➡️Movements is undirectional which means from Roots to parts of plants.

➡️Movement is passive which means energy is not required.

➡️Most of the cells are dead.

 \large{Phloem}

➡️These tissues are responsible for the moment of soluble food.

➡️Movement is multidirectional. food moves from leaves or the storage parts to the other parts.

➡️Movement is active and energy(ATP) is Required.

➡️Most of the cells are living.
