What is the difference bwetween discovery learning and active learning?

Discovery learning is based on the subject which we learn in our School the teachers will teach to us . and there is chapters which we have to analyse that which is discovered already

active learning is based on our own mind .which the thing hear after we want to discover it and tell as fact to everyone and the active learning is based on our own learning mind
