weight is a type of force exerts by gravitation
see this formula
W=mg
here W is weight and m is mass

Mass is physical quantity which says about the amount of particles in an object.It us permanent.Its SI unit is Kg.It is measured using weighing scales.

Weight is a type of force. It is not permenant and it changes.Its SI unit is newton.It is measured by spring balance.

samar57: the weight on the is 1/6 times less then the earth
samar57: sorry weight on the moon
sakshi395: hm
Anonymous: due to gravitational force
samar57: yes
Anonymous: ok bro
samar57: but on gravity on the moon
samar57: so that the actual weight a person is less on moon
Anonymous: weight is not constant only mass is constant
samar57: oooo yes sir
