Given :

Graph of temperature on different days of the week .

To find :

The difference ( in °C ) between the average temperature of the week and the  temperature on Tuesday .

Solution :

Average temperature of the week = ( 33.5 + 31.75 + 35 + 32.5 + 34 ) / 5

=> Average temperature of the week = 166.75 / 5 = 33.35 °C

The temperature on Tuesday = 31.75 °C

The difference between the average temperature of the week and the  temperature on Tuesday = 33.35 °C - 31.75 °C = 1.6 °C

The difference between the average temperature of the week and the  temperature on Tuesday is 1.6 °C .

Answer:

1.6 C

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to solve this problem, let us first calculate the average temperature.

As per given data;

Temperature on Monday = 33.5

Temperature on Tuesday = 31.75

Temperature on Wednesday = 35

Temperature on Thursday = 32.5

Temperature on Friday = 34

Average temperature = ( 33.5 + 31.75 + 35 +32.5 +34) / 5

Average temperature = 33.35

Now  difference between the average temperature of the week and the

temperature on Tuesday = 33.35 - 31.75 = 1.6 C
