In parent(f1) generation all plants have same
genotypes and phenotypes
for example,
Rr(R.round,r.wrinkled)-f1 generation
but in the f2 generation he found the genotypes and phenotypes are different
I.e, Rr, RR, Rr, rr
their genotype=2:1:1(Rr,Rr):(rr):(RR)
phenotype=3:1(RR,Rr,Rr):(rr)
rr=wrinkled seed
RR&Rr=round seed
