=(3-4)/6
=-1/6

2/3-1/2
=(4-3)/6
=1/6

So,
   
    1/2 = 1/2 × 3/3
 
           = 3/6
 
    2/3 = 2/3 × 2/2
 
          = 4/6

So, 4/6 - 3/6      =      4-3
                                    -----
                                      6

                            =        1/6

∴ 2/3 - 1/2 = 1/6
