Hill is lower than a mountain. It is often described as a 'bump' in the earth's surface. It is called a hill only if it rises less than 2,000 feet above the mean sea level.

A Mountain rises more than 2, 000 feet above the mean sea level and at time cross 8,000km. It is high and is elevated.
