the making of solar cells is quite expensive.it is made up of pure silicon which is very difficult to be made.scientists are still working on maki the extraction of pure silicon easy.
the second reason is it attrats the sun light thus the area where it is set up is becomes very hot and also very bright.thus in general its large scale use can be done but some wat on the outskirts of the city area
