Whatever there's given speed of light, speed of sound, speed of any vehicle and speed of any others,... all are one thing - "speed"!!!
So all kinds of speed do have same dimension, don't they?
Now, what's the formula of speed?
Speed = Distance / Time, we know.
Since distance is a form of length, its dimension is [L], or simply L.
And we know the dimension of time, [T], or simply T.
Now,
[Speed] = [Distance] / [Time]
[Speed] = L / T
Now we got L / T. In exponential form, we write the whole as LT^(-1).
Or we write including the dimension of mass M as,
M^0 · L^1 · T^(-1)
