Molecular range is basically nothing but the maximum distance up to which a cohesive force can effect  the distance between the two molecules.

Equal to the radius of the molecular range if we draw a radius of the same radius and we have the radius in the middle.

Then what will happen is all the molecules will attract every molecules that are falling in this sphere.
