GIVEN:

length=5m

breadth=3 m

the man completes three rounds

TO FIND:

Distance and displacement=?

CONCEPT:

Distance is the actual path covered by an object between it's initial and final position

Displacement is the shortest distance between it's initial and final position

SOLUTION:

Distance

= perimeter of rectangle

=2(l+b)

=2(8)

=16m

the man covered 3 round s=3×16=48m

Displacement=0

(as the initial and final position is the same)

I hope this helps ( ╹▽╹ )
