HEY

DIVISIBILITY RULE OF 11:

THE SUM OF THE NUMBERS IN ODD AND EVEN PLACE SHOULD BE EQUAL.

LET US UNDERSTAND IT THROUGH AN EXAMPLE.

TAKE 1331.

THE NO.S IN ODD PLACES ARE 1 AND 3. SIMILARLY IS THE CASE OF THE EVEN PLACES.

THERE SUM IS 4.

  • HENCE,VERIFIED.

vaidehijagarapu2002: A number is said to be divisible by 11 if the difference between sum of odd and even numbers is a multiple of 11
vaidehijagarapu2002: For example in 1870 sum of odd places is 1+7=8 and sum of even places is 8+0 =8
vaidehijagarapu2002: Their difference is zero which is divisible by 11
vaidehijagarapu2002: Hence 1870 is divisiblee by 11
