Answer:

Here is your answer.....

An electron is the fundamental part of an atom which remains in fixed defined path called shells according to the energy level. The shells are quantized. The electron is negatively charged which revolves around the positively charged nucleus. The electron is a fundamental particle which is composed of leptons.

The mass of an electron is 9.11*(10^-31) kg.

The charge of an electron is 1.6*(10^-19) C.

Thus,

e/m ratio = 1.6*(10^-19) /9.11*(10^-31)

e/m = 1.7563*(10^11)

Hope its helpful to u.....

thank u

"E" is charge of an electron, first calculated by Millikan's oil drop experiment.

J.J.Thomson was able to determine the e/m ratio by his experiment.

e=charge on an electron= 1.6*10^-19 C, m= mass of electron=9.1*10^-31 kg

=e/m=1.75*10^11 C/kg
