what is the effect of hydrogen on lytmus paper

hey mate..
here is ur answer..

The hydrogen gas does not change the dry blue litmus paper because the gas is unable to disassociate its ions when the paper is dry and the red litmus paper stays red in color because hydrogen gas is acidic in nature.If the blue litmus paper is moistened then it may change into red.
