What is the effect of increased day light hour on photosynthesis?

increasing daylight hr will reduce photosynthesis because according to botanical science , plants prepare assimilatory powers i.e. NADPH and ATP in daylight which r used to prepare hexose sugar i.e. glucose in night......if daylight hr r increasing then production of assimilatory powers increases and due to small dark period production of glucose decreases
